Our cowgirl boots painter
Jill Pankey got off her painting horse in Texas, and wowed us all with her new Boots n' Ballet series. This fun combination helped us help Ballet Tucson in their fundraiser this spring, by using her images in advertising, and offering a piece in their exciting live auction of a fundraiser barn dance!

On the heels of our Southwest Treasures our 22nd Anniversary show on March 28th we celebrated our many years in the "art " business.
I am thankful and grateful for every passing year that goes by. This business is simple, but it certainly isn't easy ….. I liken it to a "Mom" job…like how many hats can you wear at once ? Creative marketeer, super yet subtle salesperson, negotiator, peacemaker, psychologist,
cheerleader, optimist….. and finally a strong belief in the value of keeping our culture alive with time, talents and money!!

April brought us a terrific story in Tucson Magazine profiling the life of artist
Tom Murray. The story dovetailed with a scheduled book signing of Art Of The National Parks on April 5th. Art Of The National Parks in the nationally acclaimed, and award winning art book of last fall. This great coffee table book features several renown painters of the national parks. Tom Murray was chosen to have his paintings included in the Grand Canyon National Park section of the book. We are proud of this honor for his magnificent renderings in oil of America's show piece and international tourist destination, The Grand Canyon.
